The children bring in their own plastic chair to school each day or use a piece of wood supported by two blocks of cement. Benches are used as tables. The books are few and materials almost non existent.
At present one hundred and fifteen children are enrolled but the teachers estimate that more will enroll once the school is built.
The total cost of the school is an estimated $ 38,663, we are rounding it up to 38,500. The Municipality will contribute an approximate $ 13,000, the villagers approximately $ 5,500 and the Seekerīs Church has raised $ 10,000. We need to raise an additional $10,000 in order to complete the 3 classroom extension to the school. We are asking De la Selva to raise these $10,000.
We have worked the budget considering Seeker’s Church and De la Selva together, and the divided by two.

P.A.V.A.īs philosophy requires that the community
and Municipality participate in the projects; this enables the community
members to acquire ownership of the project thus guaranteeing its
subsequent viability. The community has promised to contribute with
materials and unskilled labor.
The Municipality will contribute with
materials, transportation and qualified labor.
The Seekerīs Church group will come in the month
of June and begin the construction work, they will work for 2 weeks.
After that the PAVA technician will oversee and direct the job to full
completion.
