You can count on us to get your order to you! With 17 years of experience in exporting handicrafts, we also have 7 years of continued service working directly with cargo shippers. We fill out the paperwork, supply quotations, and reserve space for your shipment, whether you need the merchandise sent directly or you would like to send via our shipping office in Denmark . TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Minimum order: US $3,000 or 10 display boxes of each item you would like. If the items are packed in pieces, MOQ is 500 pcs per item. Once the proforma invoice has been issued and confirmed by you, the Client, it will not be possible to make any modification. In this term, the client agrees to make the corresponding payment for the proforma.

Payment: we ask for 30% at the time of the order (to commence production) and the rest of the payment (or 70% of the order) before the delivery date.

Production: is generally between 8 to 12 weeks from the date of received deposit & depending on the products included in your order. Exact shipping date is provided upon receipt of your confirmation deposit.

Shipping: We can quote you the shipping costs based upon your order. We ship by sea and air, and can offer a special price to those of our European-based clients, as we have an extension office in Denmark . This offers a less expensive shipping cost to send your order from Guatemala through our Denmark office. We can also ship directly to your clients, when it is necessary and preferable for you.

Prices: All of our prices are FOB Guatemala City (by air), or FOB Santo Tomas de Castilla (by sea, Atlantic ) or FOB Puerto Quetzal  (by sea, Pacific).

Barcoding: We attempt to work with your barcode system. You can send us the artwork in PDF or JPEG or you can send us the stickers ready to place on the products.

Supportive Marketing Plan: Our display box labels and display cards can be customized for you!

Customized Packaging Offer:  When you purchase at least 10 display boxes per item or at least 500 pcs when items do not come in a display box, we will change our English text to your language. -- Please note that in the left horizontal text box, our box labels entail what category your product comes from. This text will not change language.
When your purchase reaches FOB $10,000 or more, we will add any of your customized information (barcode information, company logo, etc) to the front label on the box, where our logo is (From the Mayan People to You).
When your purchase reaches FOB $20,000 or more, we will customize our display boxes to your liking -- are they too large in size? Would you like less pieces? Are pegs necessary to hang the item? All of these details will be accomodated for.

Extra Charges:

Translations: To help your clients AND your sales team to understand the product we offer translations in your language! We charge $20 per product. Once our translators have the new text ready, we will send it to you for your revision. Please tell us how they are --- we include any one-time change with this charge. Any changes thereafter will be charged at $10 per product.

Lucky Bean Certificate: We have had many requests for a phytosanitary certificate to help with importing this lucky bean into your country! We can offer you this with no problem. We have experience in sending this bean to the United States , Australia , New Zealand , Canada , and the European Union, where this certificate is accepted. We charge $50 for this certificate.

Tests: In order to help you certify your products, we offer many different tests of our products: metal, paint, ceramic, etc. Charges depend on tests necessary. We quote upon your request.

Exclusive Product Designs:  We want to help you diversify your product line! Do you have special ideas for just your market? Let us help you design custom-made products just for your market. We guarantee 100% exclusivity to you for your product design if and when the product is NOT similar to anything in our catalogue nor is a product that we are currently developing on our own at De La Selva. The cost for this service is $5 per idea, all changes free of charge!

Exclusive Graphic Designs:  A special label always helps sell a new or old product! Let us re-create your product with your own special design. We charge $20 per product design and any one-time changes are included in this price. Any changes thereafter will be charged at $5 per product.

Fumigation: Do you need us to fumigate your products? We offer you a secure fumigation and certificate with prior notice at the time of your order. Price depends on the total cubic meter count of your order.

Warehousing Policy & Charges: Due to difficulties in space that we've had throughout the past few years, we need to ask for your cooperation! Please have your payment 100% cleared at least 5 days before your planned shipping date so that we can check with our transport agents to reserve your flight or LCL shipment! If for some reason your order is not paid on time or we are delayed due to a problem on the client's side, we will charge $15 per cubic meter of your order per day that the order is delayed beyond the planned shipping date. You can avoid this charge by advising us no less than 8 days in advance of your shipdate that there will be an expected delay.

Credit Note Policy: We offer you top quality handmade products from Guatemala , packaged to look their best and to sell quickly! Please keep in mind that all of our products are handmade and therefore each piece is unique and imperfect.  If for some reason your order has arrived to you with poor quality or incorrect packaging, you must notify us within 5 working days in order to receive a credit note on your next order.
